Meet Angela
Hi there, I’m Angela Amjadi. I have many interests: interior design, landscaping, beautifying spaces, and making a house a home. My husband and I have been blessed with two beautiful girls and one handsome fur baby. I am a big animal lover and enjoyed fostering animals. Although I’ve primarily cared for dogs, I hope that one day I will be afforded the opportunity to care for rabbits and maybe even a hedgehog!
At age 13, I moved to Georgia and I felt my life change. It was there that I met people of diverse backgrounds. Meeting people that didn’t look like me showed me that there was so much I could learn. Sharing meals, attending cultural celebrations and studying with classmates grew my love for Asian, Latin-American and Caribbean cultures. I especially found an affinity for Korean food in which I’ve purposed in my heart to learn how to cook delicious bulgogi (If you know, you know).
HOW DID GATHER & BLOOM GET ITS START?
After serving in a classroom for a few years, I was led to explore what other skills brought me joy. Organizing field trips, Hosting brunch in my dorm apartment and creating a plan of action to earn my honor society national recognition were all moments that showed me my potential and passion for bringing dreams to fruition. Stepping into event planning just felt right! If only I’d realized it sooner.
Then COVID happened. But instead of it being a time of isolation, I looked at it as the perfect time for me to dive deep into the fundamentals of event management. That season offered me a competitive edge. Something I would not have been afforded otherwise. I finally had the uninterrupted time to study event management. From there I met my first business partner and we navigated the ever-changing waters of entrepreneurship. We learned so much together. Our families grew. Motherhood called for more of me and hiatus became a need. In 2025 that partnership came to an end in which I was forced to decide what I wanted. After months of contemplation, I determined in my heart that bringing individuals together for momentous occasions was how I would leave a legacy in this world. And so Gather & Bloom Events co was born!

WHAT KEEPS YOU INSPIRED?
The idea of growing from my experiences keeps me inspired. Also, when I meet a client who is excited about a theme they have in mind, I can’t help but share in their excitement. Travel and nature also have a way of motivating me.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE EVENT TO PLAN?
Planning my oldest daughter’s first birthday. The theme was fairy first and I had a blast designing our venue with plants, fairy trinkets and sparkly drinks. It was a very imaginative event! And the smile on my daughter’s face when the crowd started singing made every minute of planning worth it!
WHAT WOULD YOUR DREAM EVENT LOOK LIKE?
Cream sheer fabric draped along the walls reaching all the way down. Soft pastel flowers in ornate vases and round tables where guests gather to form memories that will warm their hearts for years to come.
WHAT DO YOU HOPE EACH OF YOUR CLIENTS FEEL?
I hope the client is left feeling seen and heard. That their vision for this special occasion was fully realized. I want people to feel transported to a different place at the events I create.
